Abstract: Climate change poses the most significant threat to humanity today. This study examines the global warming trend by analyzing temperature changes over the past century, uncovering alarming results. Various models, including the Random Walk with Drift approach with R programming language, have been used to compare different time horizons and scenarios. This research demonstrates the importance of utilizing advanced analytical techniques to better understand climate change's impact. The findings underscore the urgency of implementing effective climate policies to mitigate the effects of global warming and safeguard our planet’s future.

Professor Wang received an M.S. in Systems Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in China and worked at Beijing University of Science and Technology. Having received a scholarship, he came to the USA and finished his Ph.D. in Operations Research at Temple University. At Montclair State University, he obtained tenure and was promoted to full professor. Due to his extraordinary contributions, Dr. Wang had been honored with two special range adjustments in 2006 and 2009 respectively, which is the highest ranking at MSU. He has also been invited to teach at Harvard University. Dr. Wang serves as Editor-in-Chief for 15 peer-reviewed international academic journals.
